Nihon Kobudo Hanbo-Jitsu covers a system of schools which include the basics of ancient Japanese martial arts and its armed elements. From this we now know the basics of Hanbo-Jitsu, which assumes certain preliminary studies from other martial arts schools. (Such as falling techniques, the elements of punch and kick techniques and later on certain parts of throwing techniques.) This book was made as a teaching aid for those masters who have already gained master degree in the Nihon Tai Jitsu system and want to develop their martial art knowledge further and acquire new skills. This is a recommended reading for students who have just recently stepped on their chosen path because learning this material parallel with the art of ju jitsu gives the student a wider horizon. The knowledge and practice of the Hanbo-Jitsu system gives greater self-confidence and effective self-defense for anyone.
